Netflix buys Kanye West documentary for $30M: report
Kanye West has allowed cameras to seize his life for over 20 years and now the rapper has reportedly bought a documentary to Netflix for $30 million.
In accordance with a report in Billboard, the music mogul/dressmaker desires it to be a multi-part documentary and the administrators are Clarence “Coodie” Simmons and Chike Ozah aka Coodie & Chike, who helmed West’s music movies for “By the Wire” and “Jesus Walks.”
A supply informed the outlet that Simmons has been working with West because the ’90s, capturing behind-the-scenes footage and chronicling his rise to superstardom.
The doc will reportedly element “the rapper and producer’s rise to success and fame’s influence on him as properly hip-hop’s influence on fashionable tradition and the world’s evolving relationship with superstar.”
